Aloha!
We're here and its a gorgeous day today!
No clouds in the sky....
It is so amazing! It really makes you glorify God to see all that He has created
here. We had a good plane ride over, and on Sunday, we enjoyed two sermons at the
Kauai Reformation Church.
The most common bird on this island is the rooster!!!!
They crow all day long!!! Its hilarious.
Well, the beach is calling my name.
January 28 was Cornerstone's first snowday this year! We got to sleep in, eat breakfast in our PJ's, and take a long shower!! Then we got out the snow gear and went fourwheelin'! I phoned up Clar and picked her and Johnny up on the fourwheeler. Jocelyn had Janita over as well! We took turns riding and getting pulled in the sled! The next day we were all sore in spots we never knew we had...but it was worth the fun:) Unfortunatly, I'm the person who always remembers to take out her camera...so their are lots of pics of Jocelyn and Janita! What a fun day...we made lots more memories!
On Sunday, January 13, I professed my faith in front of the American Reformed Church. I give thanks to my Heavenly Father for working this in my heart. I have been blessed to grow up in a Christian family, and to attend a Christian school.
This faith keeps me trusting in the Lord during difficult times. Recently, my best friend found out that she had cancer. She is now approaching her fourth chemo treatment. Also, my relatives in Calgary just lost their son, my cousin, to a car crash. Although we can't always understand everything that happens, I know that God knows best and that He has a plan for everything. This is a really tough time, but I can lean on the Lord and trust in Him.
